Indiana University Southeast Open House

Mom and I went to the Indiana University Southeast open house this past weekend. She just graduated over the summer from Jefferson Community and Technical College with two associate's degrees, and now she wants to pursue her bachelor's in special education. I convinced her to check out IUS after some difficulties at U of L. To be honest, U of L is a great school, but it is awfully expensive, and my mom was not given a curriculum that she wanted because she is not a traditional student. I told her about some of the great things that IUS has to offer, such as small class sizes, cheaper tuition rates, and a smaller campus where students can feel comfortable rather than lost. I want to go to this university as well, but I still have a year left at Jefferson. However, my mom is ready to make the transition, so we began with the open house on Saturday.
