I started the fall semester at Murray back in August. My sister was my roommate again, and we moved in with the help of her best friend and our mother. Our first few days were spent unpacking and preparing for classes. I had originally signed up for six classes, but I had dropped two of them by the end of the semester. I had high hopes for Murray when we arrived, but it ended up being the hardest semester of my life. I got so overwhelmed with classes, I could not find a job, and I ended up getting behind on bills. I am still trying to recover from the stress of it all. Aside from all of that, I am still trying to hold on to my positivity. The little things help with that, such as the sunset that happened during our first week back. Or the fact that I ended the semester with good grades. And once again, I got to share a dorm with my sister. Little things. I always liked the boards that the residential advisers made for our floor. My brother started seventh grade back in August. I went with my mom to his orientation. I feel like I have been doing that ever since he started going to school. We parked and walked to the shop on what seemed like the hottest day ever, but that just made the ice cream so much better once we finally got it. I had Cake "Batter Up," and two of the seasonal flavors at the time that were called Banana Puddin' Ya'll, and Oh My! Chess Pie! The seasonal flav…

Goodbye, Murray State

I made the decision to not return to Murray State University next semester. Murray was my home for a year, and I shared it with my sister, so I wanted to document the things that I did during my last week. I am taking a semester off, but I will be transferring to another university in the fall that's closer to home. In the meantime, I am going to work on myself, find another job, and save money. I am going to start another chapter, of course, but this video will be nice to look back on.
